This is for a 50min walk and talk therapy session in the rolling Essex countryside. Walk and talk is a great way to incorporate the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors! The grounding nature of being outdoors can help clients manage the emotional intensity of sitting face-to-face with a therapist which, for some, can feel overwhelming. No two walks are the same and this offers space for creativity, mindfulness and a focus on the present moment in the therapeutic process.
Walks are 50mins on quiet footpaths and managed woodlands. Please bring weather appropriate clothing, and sturdy waterproof footwear. I also recommend a drink and any emergency medical items (inhalers, epipen etc).
